Mosaic again

Mosaic now searches my path for xv and ghostview, so if

/afs/athena.mit.edu/contrib/graphics/{$hosttype}bin

isn't in my path, I get the message:

bsh: xv: not found

and xv won't start. Similarly, if

/afs/athena.mit.edu/project/gnu/{$hosttype}bin

isn't in my path, I get the message:

bsh: ghostview: not found

and ghostview won't start.

Is this the desired behavior? I thought the reason Mosaic used explicit
pathnames to various programs was so users wouldn't have to have these
programs in their paths.
