I just built gdb 4.12 and tried it again; same problem (stack trace
shows only _end, in _entry). I noticed that gprof also seems to think
that 100% of the time in any program is spent in _entry, which makes it
pretty useless. These are probably related; anyone know of a fix for
this?
BTW, this is for Linux.
