I just installed Mosaic 2.1 in the sipb locker for sun, decmips,
rsaix, linux, and vax. The RT is desupported. (Long Live Our RT's!)
the binaries are currently installed this way:
/mit/sipb/`machtype`etc/Mosaic - actual binary
/mit/sipb/`machtype`bin/Mosaic - symlink to `etc' above
/mit/sipb/`machtype`bin/xmosaic - symlink to Mosaic above
I added the first level of indirection in case we need to add a
wrapper script for some of the binaries (we did with the old version).
The xmosaic->Mosaic link will exist for an arbitrary period of time as
we phase out that name.
Many thanks to Thal for porting and building the linux and vax
versions.
sipb-afsreq people: a increased the quota of the sipb locker from
140000 to 150000 while I was doing this. After the move was done
usage was back below 140000, but I left the quota at the higher value.
