Hi Gary...
I can't answer all your questions, but I can point out that XMosaic 2.0 is
available in the "outland" locker (which contains experimental and unsupported
SIPB software) as xmosaic2-BETA. It doesn't seem to have the home page
set properly, so you'll start out in NCSA-land (I've reported this).
I don't know why that it isn't installed in the SIPB locker, but I'd
like to find out myself.
Follow-ups should be Cc'd to bug-sipb, not sipb.
