Ok, everyone calm down a bit...
The current source tree is /afs/fishwrap.mit.edu/export/xmosaic-media.
It's a slight modification of the changes I made in
/afs/sipb/project/infoagents/src/xmosaic-media[.tgz]. I've tested it
some myself, and the Media Lab has tested it as well. What's
currently installed is:
/mit/sipb/lib/app-defaults/XMosaic-media, has these 4 extra lines near
the end:
!
! for pasc
!
XMosaic*pnpViewerCommand: /afs/fishwrap.mit.edu/export/bin/@sys/xfeedback
==> Pascal, Adam: your group needs to put something in the fishwrap
cell for systypes rt_aos4, vax_bsd43, and i386_linux1, indicating
that xfeedback isn't avaialable mumble mumble whatever (something
better than an error message; a shellscript that prints a message
is fine.)
/mit/sipb/decmipsetc/xmosaic-media, the binary from
/afs/fishwrap.mit.edu/export/bin/pmax_ul4/xmosaic, built from the
sources mentioned above.
/mit/sipb/decipsbin now has xmosaic, xmosaic-media, and xmosaic-orig.
Xmosaic-orig is what it sounds like. The xmosaic-media script uses
the media resources and binary. `xmosaic' is currently a shell script
that points to xmosaic-media, so it can be backed out quickly.
Also, as a fallback, the modified version will be installed as
`xmosaic' in outland.
Does this make everyone happy?
