Hi,
I am trying to bfinger my friend at Babson College
When I do "bfinger name@babson" it says:
BABSON is the name of a group (VAXcluster) of the nodes
Y and X.
Send commands to a specific node or use a % in front of
commands sent to BABSON to have them sent to all nodes.
This was from the Daemon at BABSON
Then I did it with the % and it says:
name not logged in
This was from the Daemon at Y, which is one of the forementioned nodes.
No matter what name I finger in this way, I always get node Y.
Question 1: How do I get node X
Question 2: How can I "bfinger name@node_whatever"
In other words, can I finger a specific node like it said that
I could do. I did try this: bfinger name@Y
and it said: No active path to Y is currently available
I assume this means that Y does not exist (because I get the
same thing if I use "asdfasfhk" as the node. Then I tryed:
bfinger name@babsonY, and I got no message back. In fact, no
matter what I use right after the word "babson", I never get
a message back.
HELP ME, PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
