The version of /mit/sipb/lib/tex/macros/psfig.tex had support for
(gag) dvitps in it. Since this was causing the users to lose (I've
seen at least two questions on OLC), I tried to fix the problem in the
following way:
1. renamed psfig.tex to psfig.dvitps.tex
2. ftp'd walton.maths.tcd.ie:
/src/TeX/drivers/dvips-5.515/contrib/psfig.tex
I don't expect problems due to the fact that 5.515 is newer than what
we're running [5.495], but if anyone out there is using psfig.tex for
dvitps (ha ha ha), they'll need to be pointed to use psfig.dvitps.tex
instead.
Which brings to mind another question: we have dvitps in the sipb
locker for VAXen and RT's, although it has no manpage, and I couldn't
find any sources either. How about we just blow it away? I will, if
no one objects.
