is there any reason not to blow away
/afs/sipb.mit.edu/project/sipb/lib/tex/macros/mitthesis.sty
There's a newer version in the Thesis locker, and this has the
potential to cause people with:
/afs/sipb.mit.edu/project/sipb/lib/tex/macros/ early in their
TEXINPUTS to lose.
