Subject: xrn crashes

When I run xrn:

I get a little window popped up when I try to read news (the group
alt.censorship, but I doubt that matters).

It prints:
Unread news in alt.censorship.
Then I hit the button to read it.

The pop-up window says:
Caught signal (11), cleaned up .newsrc and removed temp files
abort | exit [buttons]

When I hit the abort button, the program hangs, with the button
remaining in reverse video.

Then the program crashes, dumping a core.

The command line transcript:

m16-034-26% xrn &
[2] 8084
m16-034-26%
[2] Segmentation fault xrn (core dumped)
m16-034-26% ls -l core
- -rw------- 1 leb root 1051936 Jul 31 20:25 core
