Even the lastest version of xdvi, which is not being run in either the release
or in the sipb locker, requires source modifications to work with the 600dpi
fonts. I was planning on working on the appropriate changes and sending them
to rel-eng, but the release came out too fast. It seems is now
considered okay to come out with a completely broken release as long as
you tag it with something that says, ``Every program you run may fail in
bizarre and unpredicatable ways.''
