If you still have the core file, run the stack trace with the
unstripped binary in the build tree, and maybe something can be done
about it.
That's what I sugested, Calvin, until I remembered that there are no
more build trees, since the build volumes were nb...
This happened as soon as he started it, before it mapped any windows,
and even after I had him do xrdb -remove. (but I didn't remember
$WWW_HOME, so it may have been that. I don't have any problems trying
it on the same machine.
