So, for a while now we've been talking about restoring the next volume
from tape. The volume is project.sipb-next.nb. This means that it's
not backed up. Therefor, the next volume will not be restored from
tape.

For the future, we should upgrade milo to NS3.1. Can someone comment
on:

o the price of NS3.1 on `standard' media, which I assume is cdrom
   these days.

o the posibilty of using the apple cdrom drive currently attached to
   deathtonge to install said media.

o the possibility of borrowing apropriate hardware from a kind member
to install said OS, given that we have a license. (why yes, it's
legal... Our license is with the media, on the shelf, still in
   it's original shrinkwrap. :-)

o the current price (with educational discounts, but not clear if the
MCC can get things for us anymore) of a cdrom drive, with or
without OS. Also, the probable value to sipb of said drive.
(We're spending money pretty quickly these days. :-/)
