Err, no. Those are *build* volumes for sipbsrc, which are nb on all
platforms. Did no one notice `project.sipbsrc.[vax|mips|rt|next].nb'
or what? The only things that are supposed to be in those volumes are
build trees that can be `easily' recovered from the source in
sipbsrc/src. I've not changed them back now, since it's concievable
that people will decide that we want them backed up, but if we do we
need to fix the others, then. (personal opinion: no; it's not worth
the space. If something takes them all down and we lose the tape
backups of the binaries then we've hit a situation where an outage is
justified)

As for project.sipb-linux:

  bill-the-cat:/afs/sipb/project/sipb
  ; fs exa next_vol linux_vol
Volume status for vid = 536872529 named project.sipb-next.nb
  Current disk quota is 15000
  Current blocks used are 2
The partition has 181212 blocks available out of 831488

Volume status for vid = 536872982 named project.sipb-linux.nb
  Current disk quota is 5000
  Current blocks used are 3678
The partition has 277200 blocks available out of 1048576

I sent mail about this, I thought... It's not a naming convention I
like, but it's there. For now, it's probably ok to keep it nb (not
much use). By the time it should be backed up I hope to move it out
of the special volume.

This, the problem Calvin had with the sun volume, and the similar
problem I had with the next volume lead me to believe that it might be
time to reorganize the volumes in sipb and sipbsrc sometime soon...

I'll be around to talk about it after the meeting, for those who are
interested. If anyone can think of a good reason that we couldn't
rename certain volumes, please let me know. Also, member who are in a
position to do something about athena-cell volumes (i.e. sun) would be
most welcome. :-)
