Pnews is part of rn.  I'm going to flame about rn now.

Rrn needs to be built for Solaris properly.  It hasn't been built since
dt was moved to Solaris, and this is the cause of that problem, among
other things.  I just took a shot at it, but it doesn't configure
easily, because Configure sets a hardcoded PATH (it overrides yours)
and expects to find things in it, which it can't, because everything is
in weird places on Solaris.  There are other problems, too.  Lots of
them.

In any case I modified the installed Pnews script so that it invokes
test without an explicit path.  This is a temporary fix.

From the looks of it, rn isn't being worked on any more.  The lastest
patches on ftp.uu.net are over a year old, so it's not surprising that
it doesn't configure on Solaris.  Perhaps you should use trn instead.
