I started rn at 14:23 on an RS/6000 and it fetched an empty active
list. I ran getactive 30 seconds later (as soon as I could find the
binary) and it worked properly.
If you can figure out a way to duplicate this, we can do something
about it. Otherwise, I suspect we're mostly helpless to fix it.
