I'm not going to spend any time trying to track down this xarchie bug,
because a new version of xarchie was recently released and I'm going
to install it in the sipb locker as soon as I get a chance.

I'd say you can go ahead and delete the coredump.

BTW, gzip gets better compression than freeze, so if you want a core
file to take up as little space as possible, you might want to use
it.
