Oh yes, one other comment. It is really silly to have two different
versions of TeX around, one in the 6.1B release and one in the SIPB
filesystem, whose _only_ difference is their behavior on non-existent
extensions. This is irresponsible regardless of the religious issues
involved, and will cause unexpected behavior depending on the order of
the user's search path.
