/mit/sipb/lib/tex/fonts/README is a link to vf/README, which does not exist.
vf/README was a file which said "This is where the virtual fonts will
go" (I believe that's almost exactly what was in it) and was over a
year old. I decided that it was no longer needed and remove it. I
didn't know about the symbolic link to it (and I have no idea what the
purpose of that symbolic link was; it doesn't seem to have any). I've
removed the symbolic link.
John, how in God's name did you notice this? :-)
