The BASIC directory was intended for the version of BASIC under unix
that we found somewhere and deleted from the watchmaker filesystem. It
seemed at the time to be something SIPB should provide... however, it
had a machine-specific section, which wasn't worth porting to the RT
(or for that matter, eliminating entirely) so the project fell off the
back burner. Feel free to resurrect it :-)
As for xdvi copies: for the moment, punt xdvi.v, and whichever is
older of xdvi.x11 or xdvi. As soon as Rhu installs his sources, I
suppose *all* of the other versions can go, and in fact the new one
should be placed into charon:~ftp and announced to xpert. I assume Rhu
will take care of that.

ps. I assume the other goal of this is to do a full rebuild from
sources, esp. now that rrn and xscreensaver are buildable? :-)
