Can we just punt this program, or replace it with a script that says to
run
fig2dev -L ps file.fig file.PS
or something? I've run across a number of fig files f2ps dies on.
I have no objection to this. Replacing it with a script that echos a
message to stderr and then exits with a non-zero exit status seems
reasonable.
(Since you brought it up, I assume you're going to take care of it.
