I've modified fortune so that it uses a byte-order-independent format
for the fortunes.dat file, and installed new binaries (and a new
fortunes.dat in /mit/sipb/lib) on the vax, rt, decmips, and rs/6000.
Furthermore, since the fortunes.dat in /mit/sipb/lib and the
fortunes.dat in /mit/sipb/NEXTlib are identical, I've installed a
symlink from the latter to the former, although I haven't recompiled
the program for the NEXT yet.
This saves us about 2.7 meg in the locker.
