I just tried to use Xscreensaver on my RS6k, and it crashed and
exited shortly
after locking my screen. The exact error message was:
X Error: BadWindow
Request Major code 10 ()
ResourceID 0x900053
Error Serial #671
Current Serial #678
I have never seen this happen before; is it repeatable?
The only time I have seen xscreensaver exit with an X error is
occasionally when you unlock the screen, due to a race condition of
some sort in the X Toolkit that I can't do much about. You're telling
me that the program exited when the screen was locked?
How soon after locking the screen is "shortly?" Had the floating box
started to float?
