rn took 4 minutes CPU time on an RT to search my .newsrc for bogus
newsgroups. It took much more real time because I had two compiles
running too.
Bug 1: It said to wait for "a second". It lied.
Bug 2: It should not have spent 4 minutes searching my .newsrc.
I could write a shell script calling awk and sort that would work
faster than that.
I stopped rn and gcored it twice while it was apparently looping. The
stack trace was lseek() called from ftell() called from findact().
