Subject: Archie Service
We have noticed connections to an Archie server running on
147.225.1.31 from your site(s). The ANS archie server machine,
ARCHIE.ANS.NET, had its IP address changed from that IP number
to 147.225.1.2, and for some reason your site(s) appear to have
not been updated.
The machine at the old IP address is being configured to do other
things. We are therefore planning to disallow archie logins and
archie client requests on that machine this coming Friday.
We hope you continue to use the service on the new ARCHIE.ANS.NET
at 147.225.1.2 and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
