whilst using xrn on an IBM rt as part of athena, i repeatedly found that
when i tried to FOLLOWUP an article, xrn died with the message
Caught signal (11), cleaned up .newsrc and removed temp files
which is not very wonderful.
what causes this and is there a good way of stopping it?
