Hello, I'm writing in response to your recent message to bug-sipb:

We actually already support archie, but not the X version; instead, we
support a version written in perl (/usr/sipb/$bindir/archie), which is
18k and runs on all four platforms... (this is a big advantage over a
version than is around a megabyte on each of the four platforms!) As
we are trying to migrate much of our software to the RS-6000's, disk
space is a concern. I am personally not enthusiastic about installing
the X version of archie, but maybe someone else will want to.
Thanks for letting us know, though!
