zwgc crashes and formats tty output poorly

Uhm, this is not going to be a very good bug report, but
on linux (1.2.13) zwgc (from zephyr 2.0 with --enable-athena)
seems to crash for me, sometimes.
it generally works for a while, then something causes it to die
once it dies, trying to restart it often causes it to seg fault immediately
it doesn't seem to happen to anyone else, sorryi'm afrait that's about ll i know
on an unrelated not, in ttymode it formats @center and @right much wider than necessary
causing them to take up three lines of my terminal when nothing else on the zephyr
is that wide
