Subject: zwgc and zhm during login on a "server"
During some login sessions to a machine that is heavily used and infrequently
rebooted, I will run into a situation where zwgc will wait forever (>10mins)
while trying to contact the hostmanager [apparently this is in a system call since ctrl-C doesn't work
and the only recourse is to kill the rlogin session from the local machine]
this problem seems to be fixed by killing and restarting the zhm
I guess my point is that:
1) zwgc shouldn't wedge you to the point you have to kill the login
2) zhm shouldn't roll over and die
--hal
sorry about the formatting jik.
