What am I doing wrong? Does this syslog look OK the way I am doing it?

Environment: 1) No Kerberos, No Hesiod.
	     2) X-terminal environment with a few servers.
	     3) Running initially as a normal user (both zephyrd, & zhm)
on "penguin" one of teh server machines.
	     4) penguin is a server machine which has display set to
			my X terminal.
	     5) The list file where zephyrd reads server names from has the
name "penguin" in it. Having it empty also does the same except
I get an extra syslog "I'm a renegade server". Since there is
only 1 server, I thought I could keep this file empty.

When I start the server I get the following in the syslog:

penguin[23] zephyrd -d

gives in syslog::

Dec 5 13:16:42 penguin unix: zephyrd[2240]: debugging on

penguin[24] zhm -d penguin

gives in the syslog:

.13.103/2104
Dec 5 13:17:37 penguin unix: hm[2314]: Server went down, finding new server.

I don;'t know why zhm says "Server went down, finding new server.". AND I am
trying only one server as present. There is NO other server.

AND then after that doing a zwgc OR other clients time out with messahe:

Timed out while Setting Location.

Any ideas? I am using the default acl-lists, and defualt subsription variables,
except that I do not have any initializing program (zinit & I commented it
out). Currently I start zwgc manually as I am still playing with it.

None of the documents talk about failure scenarios, and what to look for.

Thanks,

/Pradeep
