This may happen with the zwgc in the release as well, but I
haven't seen it.
I have by default my zephyr output going to both the default
driver and a logfile (/tmp/zwgc_log.qjb). After I had been
logged in for some time and had been receiving zephyrgrams
normally, I got this error:
zwgc.desc: error on writting /tmp/zwgc_log.qjb: No children
This error came just as a mail notification zephyrgram came in.
That particular zephyrgram did not log. Subsequent zgrams did
log. Right after this happened, I stopped and gcored my zwgc.
In case you are interested, the core is in
/mit/qjb/tmp/core.zwgc. Let me know when I can delete it.
I mention that this was a mail notification zephyrgram because
my zwgc.desc exec's zmailnotify for these -- this may be
relevent to "no children", but it all seems rather incongruous
to me...
