This morning around 8 a.m. there was a fire on the outside of the W91 build=
ing.
The fire appears to have been started from contractors welding on the roof.=
The welding resulted in sparks which set leaves on fire at the base of th=
e scaffolding outside the building and caused the staging to catch fire.
One worker who was on-site has been evaluated and no injury was reported. T=
here is no structural damage to the building or loss of service to our cus=
tomers.
At this point, the smoke is subsiding from the building and fans have been =
setup within the building as well. The staff in W91 affected by the smoke h=
ave been offered alternative work spaces in W92. and the W91 data center re=
mains open and operational.
