i left my 13 xterms running through today, without a panic.
so i rebooted, thinking maybe the bug the depends on some
fucked-up state initialized at boot-time.
the reboot panic'ed. "panic: removing free block".
very amusing.
so i tried again with lots of windows & scribe (sometimes saber,
but i haven't tried scheme yet). no panic after 5 minutes, no panic
at reboot. mystery.
i'll ask bill ruh about APAR's.
