Better, IMHO, to remove the copy from the /usr/athena/lib/tex/macros,
especially if you're putting [la]tex in a locker. It took me a while
to get all those changes straight and into the thesis locker way back
summer before last when I was working on the EZ thesis template. This
seems like exactly the kind of thing that should be in the thesis
locker; don't confuse people with an out-of-date version.
