Can we set the bell volume to something which is a little bit more
tolerable in the next release? I know the bell should be loud enough to
catch the user's attention, but in the W20-575 cluster, it seems once
every so often (too often) someone screws up or a program is buggy, and
hundreds of beeps fill the air, to the potential annoyance of a hundred
other users in the cluster.
(This discuss meeting was suggested as a somewhat sort of reasonable
place to send this suggestion by someone who shall remain nameless. :)
