I'm continuing to receive Palladium queries from the outside
world - seems as though OSF has decided not to take responsibility
for distributing even the old documentation. The initial round
of questions usually give way to the bit and byte level fairly
quickly, and thus I scramble to get the correct information to the
requestor.
Here are the latest round of questions and my tenative answers -
could someone please provide a sanity chack and fill in the missing
pieces for me.
1. What DCE services does palladium use?
Palladium relies upon the DCE environment as a whole.
2. Is it really required that palldium get these services from DCE?
(tenative yes)
3. If not, what needs to be done to the build scripts to
"glue in" these services from another source?
(?)
I appreciate any assistance you can provide.
