I used Lucien's specifications which are straight forward.. if it
doesn't work I can always submit a patch later.
1. /mit/snmp/nyser/pickup/server/src <- this directory only
/mit/snmp/nyser/pickup/etc/snmpd.conf <- this file only
2. man page already in release
3. Significant portions of this snmp has been ported to the r6000
to respond to common machtype and configuration queries in addition
to supporting the cluster monitor and most standard mib variables.
Other changes include using domain names for community locations
in snmpd.conf, and supporting new machtype and rc.conf variables.
The Imakefile provided is one that was used in 7.3 plus the rs6000
additions. Let me know if there are any questions or problems.
