You knew I had to get the last word in, right? Well, here it (or they)
are:
attach dash;
cp /mit/dash/src/Dash /source/athena/athena.bin/dash/Dash
- app-defaults file for dash, to work around
phantom-load problem showing up on some platforms.
attach motif1.1;
cp /mit/motif/release/XKeysymDB /source/athena/athena.bin/mwm/XKeysymDB
- change to KeysymDB file so that third-party motif apps
will work on our systems (ie. xess).
re-install in the dash tree, re-install in the mwm tree.
These are both ascii file changes, so no recompile is necessary on any
platforms.
Please also make sure that /usr/lib/X11/XKeysymDB is a pointer to
/usr/athena/lib/X11/XKeysymDB. On the vax and rt, this is taken care
of, as /usr/lib/X11 is a link to /usr/athena/lib/X11. On the mips, I
think this requires a symlink be put into /usr/lib/X11...? Haven't
checked on the rios...
