"release.72" does not contain what is out in the field. Upon the freeze
of the release, release.72 became a readonly volume and lots of changes
were committed to the source tree. 7.2R is a patch release and the
binaries were built in the release.73 filesystem, since a re-release of
the source tree would have been even farther away from the contents of
7.2 than the patch release. That is why we say once the release is frozen
any patches that need to be done will not be reflected in the release
tree.
As long as the binaries match the packs, you're ok. Debugging is still
possible, but for xlogin it requires the use of an alternate build tree.
