OK, I'm on a 7.2P testers machine (I know, it's a testers, but this is
weird and now I'm just looking for an explanation):

    % ls /usr/man/{cat,man}3/XtMalloc.3Xt
    /usr/man/cat3/XtMalloc.3Xt /usr/man/man3/XtMalloc.3Xt
    % ls /usr/man/man*/XtMalloc*
    No match.
    % ls /usr/man/man3/XtMalloc.3Xt
    /usr/man/man3/XtMalloc.3Xt
    % ls /usr/man/man3/XtM*
    /usr/man/man3/XtMakeGeometryRequest.3Xt
    /usr/man/man3/XtMakeResizeRequest.3Xt
    /usr/man/man3/XtManageChild.3Xt
    /usr/man/man3/XtManageChildren.3Xt
    /usr/man/man3/XtMapWidget.3Xt
    /usr/man/man3/XtMergeArgLists.3Xt
    /usr/man/man3/XtMoveWidget.3Xt

Is this due to some kind of corruption? I don't get it.

OK, the file *is* there, I can more it, but it's not in the whatis file,
which is why I couldn't find it, but what's the deal with the above?

Oh, and Richard - it looks like XtMalloc isn't in the whatis file for
the release, either:

    % attach -m /mnt e40-vssys
    % grep XtMalloc /mnt/usr/man/whatis
    %
