I end up sending mail about this every time a new release comes
out. For those of us who don't have auto-update for some
reason, it would be really nice if we could be informed of what
changes are in each incremental update. Even a set of simple
instructions indicating whether or not a shutdown is necessary
or a new kernel is going to copied in would be extremely
helpful. If I know that shutdown is not necessary and reboot is
not necessary, then I can just su and take the update.
