I have just created the new RT and VAX srvd's... I have put the template
RVD in place, and have also copied the 7.1 "xdm" into place for
compatibility. There is one difference between that "xdm" and the one
in 7.1 -- the resources are the new ones that avoid a couple of the
security holes.
That achieves a great deal of compatibility, or so I believe. However,
show_console will not work with 7.1 machines running with 7.2 packs. In
7.2, show_console interfaces with the new console program...
The VAX install is now proceeding...
Ez, I assume you will be dealing with Andrew, since it is not in the
source tree and the X man page expansion, since neither of these are in
the source tree (or shall I say, actively present there...)
