Testers' packs

As of Thursday, we wish to continue to update software on the testers
packs with newer versions. We will attempt to only install what we
believe is stable, but we cannot guarantee that there might not be
something that breaks your environment.
The packs affected will be those served via AFS from the
testers.athena.mit.edu cell... Anyone who is one of the E40 friendly
testers is using these packs. To determine if you are using these
packs, type:
hesinfo `hostname` cluster
If the line:
syslib e40test-sys-71
appears, you are using these "friendly test" packs.
If you wish to be moved off to the standard E40 staff cluster, please
inform Release Engineering, and we will gladly change your machine's
Hesiod information.
