PMAX defines sprintf as returning char *???

Now, six months after getting everybody at MIT and CMU to go to the
correct definition of sprintf returning an int, we find that stdio.h on
the PMAX defines it as char * unless SYSTEM_FIVE is defined?

I thought this was dogma as of 4.3bsd version 1.

Would someone tell DEC to "GET WITH THE PROGRAM!".
