We cannot redistribute. It was developed at LCS by Tim Shepard with
input from Stan and someone else (read man page for details) under the
name reconcile. The agreement we made with Tim was that we could use it,
with our modifications if we changed the name, but could not
redistribute. We have rewritten alot of it, but not enough to seriously
believe that it is ours for redist. I imagine you can talk Tim though if
there it is really desired.

On a separate side note, if all you want is something to setup
symlink farms to sources, then Kubi has written one in C and the X
consortium has one written as a shell script. Synctree just has better
configuration options.
