It appears there is a configuration error on the VAX side for 7.0B, so
some configuration files were not updated on the VAX.
These configuration fixes and more will appear in 7.0C (which will
appear at some as-yet undetermined time).
Also, there have been a couple incidents of people updating machines that
are not "friendly-test" machines. Before you take any 7.0 updates,
please make sure that the machine is a friendly-test machine. To find
out whether a machine is in the friendly-test cluster, type:
hesinfo `hostname` cluster
The following lines should appear somewhere in the returned information
usrlib e40test-usr-70
syslib e40test-sys-70
If they do not, do not update the machine. If you want to add a machine
to the friendly-test cluster, please talk to Ezra or me.
Updating to 7.0 and having it reboot will cause the machine to then try
updating back to 6.4... this WILL fail, and it generates a mess that is
non-trivial to clean up. (This was a bug on the 6.4 packs which has
been fixed in 7.0).
