The patches do not make it impossible to spoof a host, but they do make it more difficult. I would suggest that, if possible, we get the 4.4 rlogind/rshd code from Berkeley (via Kevin or Mike), at least if the Kerberos group agrees, and use these patches (appropriately modified).
