I've seen this failure when the hard drive was flakey. As it is a vs2000,
use t 0 or t50 (whichever is the full tests) and see what you get for the
hard drive. Gevalt was having troubles recently where the power on sequence
indicated a filure with the hard drive but the full test did not.
From what I can tell, the floppy boots, and undergoes auto-conf but then
fails as it cannot swap off the hard disk and then panics. The above message
does not go into enough detail as to when the message is received, before or
after anything is loaded off the floppy.
