HI,

I'm managing one of the athena clusters (35-217).

After the electrical power shutdown this morning, I discovered that
bashful.mit.edu ( Internet Address: 18.78.0.121) has a problem rebooting.

In the rebooting procedure, as soon as it comes to the fsck finds a disk inconsistency asks to run fsck by hand and goes back to the
				>>>
prompt.

Is there a way I could start booting single user and run fsck or is
the root partition damaged so that someone from your end has to come
and reboot the WS via floppy?

Thanks -John S.
