Ezra reported a problem (and a fix) that's occurred today with AFS.
Users get a "(No such device)" message when they try to access a volume
that has such a problem. Ezra fixed a few by hand, and I have, too. If
people complain about such errors, please try to get a description of
the problem and the *path* of the thing they were trying to access.
For example, /mit/macathena and /mit/nfs-afs were two things that
were having this problem (I've fixed those).
We'll try to find out what's causing this problem, but in the meantime:
if you get complaints about "No such device", please get its path,
and send it to 'op'. Thanks.
