From: luong@Athena.MIT.EDU To: hotline@Athena.MIT.EDU Date: Thu, 04 Jun 92 09:38:24 EDT Hi, Yesterday, June 3, I was working in the directory /mit/olympus and there was something wrong with the machine I was using or with XESS that caused the lost of two of my files. I did ask OLC for help in saving these files but they couldn't find a solution. I am asking for your help in recovering theses files from the backup of June 2. OLC showed me how I could recover a file but I didn't have enough access rights in file locker Olympus so I was unable to do so. But you can be sure that I am allowed to work in that file locker ( I am working for Project Olympus this Summer ) . The lost files are .. /mit/olympus/Spreadsheets/data21a.xs /mit/olympus/Spreadsheets/data36a.xs Currently these files have a size of 0 in the directory. You could recover and overwrite the existing damaged ones. Thank you very much, --- LuoNg --
